I got back a few hours ago but I bet my car still smells like burning brakes. What you can’t see are the elevation changes. This thing has some convincing Laguna Seca corkscrews. The occasional pair of skid marks from cars departing into trees/cliffsides and the roadside crosses and memorials every few miles kept me cautious at only 3x the speed limit or thereabouts. It’s also super windy here today and lots of small branches were falling which loosened things up a bit too.
You’d never guess it, but that is actually in Oakland, CA. There’s quite a bit more than just riots and crime if you know where to look.
